Barbara Mori Ochoa is a Maxican- Uruguayan model as well as actress. She began her career with a role on television as an actress and model. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on the 2nd February 1978. She comes from a mixed heritage, with both Japanese as well as Uruguayan roots. She has a brother and she has two siblings. Parents include Yuyi Mori and Rosario Ochoa. Her parents divorced when she was the age of three. Barbara has spent the bulk of her childhood living in Mexico as well as Uruguay before moving to Mexico City. Her modeling career began in an unexpected and interesting fashion. The film was shot on location in New Mexico Los Angeles and Las Vegas. In the year 2010, Kites was not an enormous success in terms of box-office.
